A Song For You
My favorite Idol on Season 5, Elliott Yamin didn’t win last season of American Idol… but nevertheless, he’s still my favorite. He should have won the show though! I love his voice! Among Elliott’s performances, I like this rendition of Donny Hathaway’s ‘A Song For You’ best. It even moved Paula Abdul to tears… check it out.

Elliott is my favorite too. His teaser single, Movin On, is now available on iTunes. His first single should be out within the week. CD dropping 3/20/07 – you can pre-order at Amazon, Target, Best Buy…..and other retailers. Look for some videos soon! ATTBlueroom!

A new rendition of this is coming up on his upcoming CD. Imagine this with a little studio polish!!!! Bringing a modern twist to a song that’s a star on it’s own, I’m expecting to be wowed.

Yes, yes, yes! The defining moment was when Elliott Yamin tore up “A Song for You” during AI5. The soulfulness was sooo stirring that I became insane and haven’t recovered from my Yaminitis ever since.

Elliott had me hooked from the start. I am not biased when I say that its nice to have been living in the same state as Elliott even though I never got a chance to meet him. I am an older gal and noone has ever had me swooning like Elliott has. He is going to make even his harshest critics proud. IMO the wrong person won AI last year. It should have come down to Elliott and Chris D. and then it should have been declared a tie. He is the best AI EVER!!!!
